POWA CUTS, a new label founded by DJ & producer Max Powa and music-manager Lenny Roots. Built upon the history of Dub by following fractals in music, POWA CUTS collaborates with veteran reggae singers and transforms classic material into crisp, powerful 7 inch vinyl cuts!
‘Do You Love’
music by: Max Powa
produced by: Max Powa & Lenny Roots
For the first release the label has chosen a living legend from Jamaica, Horace Andy.
“Do You Love My Music” was originally recorded in the year of 1977, by Everton DaSilva in Canada, who got murdered only two years after. It is still an outstanding song in Horace Andy´s repertoire, freshly reinterpreted by the young & upcoming Austrian artist Max Powa.
Watch out for the fourthcoming “POWA001 Remix EP” featuring new mixes of “Do You Love”.
